AMRE Halftone Dissolve — Halftone Dot Photoshop Script

A shape breaking up into printed dots.

One Photoshop script that runs your artwork through a Color Halftone, rounds the dots off and cuts the result back to two tones — so the form holds where it is solid and falls apart into a scatter of dots where it thins out.

Three layers, all yours. Ink, paper and grain arrive separately, and the shape lands in an editable layer mask. Both colours are plain fill layers — click the swatch to recolour them whenever you like. Paint on the mask to take dots away or put them back.

A panel, not a guess. Dot radius, rounding, both Levels points, both colours and the grain, set before anything is built. Distances are given at a 2160 px reference and scale to your artwork, so the dots stay the same size relative to the shape whatever the file size.

Non-destructive. Your original artwork is only hidden below the group, never touched.
